Who Is Frieza?

Frieza is the self-proclaimed Emperor of the Universe.

Feared throughout countless worlds for his power, intelligence, and cruelty, Frieza built his reputation through conquest and domination.

Unlike many contestants on the island, Frieza is not a hero.

He does not fight for justice.

He does not fight for friendship.

He fights because he believes he is superior.

However, that same pride is exactly what caused him to become interested in the Host.

How He Arrived

For once, Frieza was not fighting.

He was alone.

Calm.

Thinking.

Then reality began to collapse.

The sky cracked apart.

The stars disappeared.

Space itself seemed to fold inward.

Rather than panic, Frieza simply watched.

The distortion grew larger and larger until the universe around him shattered completely.

When he opened his eyes, he found himself standing among nineteen strangers on an unfamiliar island.

Most contestants were confused.

Frieza was insulted.

Personality

Frieza is intelligent, manipulative, patient, and incredibly arrogant.

He views most people as inferior to him and rarely treats others as equals.

Despite this, Frieza is not reckless.

He prefers to observe situations before acting and is often far more calculating than people realize.

Many contestants initially expected Frieza to become one of the island's greatest villains.

Instead, he quickly became one of its greatest mysteries.

Current Story

Frieza entered Anime Showdown Ultimax with no intention of participating fairly.

To him, the competition itself means very little.

The Host is what interests him.

Eventually, Joker approaches him with an offer.

An opportunity.

A chance to escape.

By Episode 5, Frieza secretly joins the Escape Team alongside Joker, Law, and Gyro.

His reasons remain entirely selfish.

However, his intelligence, power, and willingness to confront impossible threats make him one of the group's most valuable members.
